The British Library is an important institution for
studying all aspects of British History.  Please click

Funding opportunities for studying in the United
Kingdom are offered by the United States
government, the British government, several

A number of professional organizations exist for the
aid and advancement of academics across the
social sciences.  The American Historical
Association is the most important such body for

In 1997, New Labour held devolution referendums
in Scotland and Wales.  Both nations voted to install
democratically-accountable devolved governments.

British politics has been dominated by the
