Through the numerous features on this site, The British Scholar Society serves to link the intellectual communities around the world that study Britain and its global history from 1688 to the present. British Scholar enhances our understanding of these relationships through the British Scholar Annual Conference, our Journal published with Edinburgh University Press entitled Britain and the World: Historical Journal of the British Scholar Society, and the Britain and the World book series published with Palgrave Macmillan. Our site also includes the Book of the Month, which reviews the newest works available, and Featured Scholar, which profiles academics at all stages of their careers.
